All families at Ringwood & Fordingbridge Schools should have access to the support they need to develop and grow. No child should have to face
poverty and mental health problems alone.
The Co-op Local Community Fund
The Co-op Local Community Fund is an initiative designed to support local causes and community projects that make a real difference to the lives of people in their neighbourhoods and, in our case, Ringwood and Fordingbridge.
By shopping at Co-op, members can help direct funds to charities and groups that are working tirelessly to improve their communities.
Each year, Co-op members are invited to choose a local cause that they want to support. These causes can range from youth clubs, food banks, educational programs, to environmental projects and beyond.
The funds are then distributed based on the spending patterns of members who have chosen that particular cause. The more members who select a cause, and the more they spend, the bigger the share of the fund that cause receives.
Who We Are
Our mission is to provide a range of easy to access, immediate, high quality and sustainable support for young people and families with debt worries and mental health issues in our local area.
We are a group of local people and organisations who have come together to raise funds and secure services to address the issues of poverty and hardship in the locality of Ringwood & Fordingbridge Schools.
We are all volunteers and we work with local supporters who help us with funding our projects.

Financial First Aid
We help families with essentials in an emergency financial crisis. This could be from free meals, shopping vouchers, clothing etc.
Financial Doctor
A Financial Hardship Support Worker who works with families in crisis to review their financial circumstances and assess help from the Government or other charities
MH Practitioner
A team of counsellors working in our local schools who help to heal young minds and reverse damaging behaviour patterns.
Financial Surgeon
We are raising funds for a Debt Coach to work with struggling families and enable them to become debt free.
Vaccination for Life
A range of educational interventions which grow budgeting, healthy lifestyle skills, build on existing parenting skills and support lifelong and generational change
